The author of this pamphlet is a member of Asylum Welcome, a registered charity working with asylum seekers and refugees to provide companionship, advice and practical support. She provides a succinct description of the difficulties and indignities these often terrified and disoriented people have to face and the legal problems they encounter in their struggle to be recognised as genuine refugees in the UK.
